What to Know Before You Glow.

Prepare for your visit to Treasure Coast Glow Co. with a little Q + A.

Preparation

  • For the most radiant results, we recommend showering 2-4 hours before your appointment or ideally the night before. Freshly showered skin results in open pores, which can help your tan develop.

    The night before your appointment, take time to care for your skin: exfoliate and shave. Be sure to avoid any lotions, oils, deodorants, and perfume - anything that might create a barrier between your skin and glow.

  • To ensure a flawless, no-streak tan you can feel confident in, wear loose-fitting, dark-colored clothing and flip-flops to your appointment. Avoid tight clothing and undergarments that can rub against your skin and cause streaking. 

    Our general customer policy is that women can undress to their level of comfort. We offer complimentary disposable thongs. Males must wear briefs.

  • When you first get to your appointment, your Glow Artist will walk you through your desired results, level of tan, specific needs or allergies, and concerns. 

    Each tanning session takes approximately 20 minutes.

  • Allow for 8-24 hours for a radiant tan, you will be confident in.

    This will depend on the type of tan you're getting (Standard Glow, Rapid Glow, or Customized Glow), as well as the level of bronze that you desire.

Extend / Aftercare

  • Depending on your color and/or type of tanning package (Rapid Glow, Standard Glow, or Customized Glow) you’ll be instructed to rinse off — with warm water only — 1-8 hours after your appointment. Your Glow Artist will give you specific instructions. Please make sure to follow their guidance closely to ensure optimal results:

    1. Rinse thoroughly with warm water only

    2. NO soap or scrubbing 

    3. The water rinse will remove the bronzer and you’ll look a little lighter, but the underlying color will continue to develop over 18-24 hours.

    4. The day after your appointment, you can shower as normal using gentle tan-safe body wash and pat skin dry

    5. After you shower, moisturize with tan-safe lotion or body butter. It is important to keep your skin hydrated. You can purchase tan-safe lotions at the salon.

  • The duration depends on your skin type, lifestyle, and maintenance. Our Glow Artists are here to guide you. They’ll walk you through our services as well as our products for purchase, all developed to boost your radiant tan and keep your skin healthy. Consult your Glow Artist to find the right experiences and products for you.

Maintenance

  • Sunless tanning aftercare products (offered in our salon) can make a difference in how long the tan lasts.

    Avoid harsh chemicals (chlorine, salt water, soap, etc.) and heavily moisturizing soaps and cleansers, as these substances will likely compromise the quality and longevity of your spray tan. 

    Use spray tan compatible sunscreens.

    Ask your Glow Artist about the maintenance products available inside Treasure Coast Glow Co. Salon.

Additional

  • We want everyone to have the chance to feel confident. 

    If you have allergies, please tell your Glow Artist. Our tans are always gluten free, paraben free, cruelty free, sulfate free, 100% vegan, nut allergy free, and non-comedogenic.

    Clients with asthma or other respiratory issues should consult one of our Glow Artists prior to tanning. If allergies are a concern, Treasure Coast Glow Co. will conduct a patch test on your skin to assess the risk of an allergic reaction.

Scheduling My Appointment

  • All appointments must be secured with a credit card at the time of booking.

    Cancellation policy: You will be billed for the service if you cancel within 24 hours. 

    All spray tans are by appointment only. Our services are customized to suit your specific needs. We prepare for each visit with time and care to ensure the best possible outcome, and as such, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. We appreciate your understanding.

  • No shows will be charged the cost of the service with the credit card on file. If you arrive too late for a service to be provided, you will be charged for the cost of the service.

A quick and convenient glow with less downtime. Allow 1 hour for light bronzing, 2 hours for medium bronzing, and 3 hours for the deepest bronzing effect prior to showering. 


Customized Glow $65

Customize your treatment with plus-ups developed to enhance, maintain, and extend your tan. Add any of these luxurious products to your glow-up for just $5 each.
